SIGMAXYZ Inc. (SIGMAXYZ) has supported Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (Nissan) in the implementation of enterprise data services and a Tool-Augmented AI Assistant (Note 1). This initiative aims to facilitate cross-functional data integration and establish a sophisticated environment that empowers the entire organization to leverage data as a strategic asset.
Since 2019, SIGMAXYZ has been instrumental in assisting with the architecture of Nissan’s data and analytics infrastructure. Our long-term collaboration has focused on strengthening the data ecosystem—ranging from developing comprehensive data catalogs to establishing robust governance frameworks and organizational structures. When Nissan launched its internal "Data as a Service" (DaaS) platform in 2021, SIGMAXYZ helped operationalize this vision by establishing a service organization to empower business users and by systematically cataloging high-impact use cases.
For the Tool-Augmented AI Assistant, which went live in November 2025, SIGMAXYZ provided comprehensive support, including architectural design, development management, and the continuous optimization of data warehouses and catalogs. By integrating multiple AI models with the DaaS platform, the system now enables users to input challenges in natural language, allowing the AI assistant to navigate vast datasets to identify similar use cases and present the most relevant information. This milestone represents a significant step toward the realization of fully autonomous AI agents at scale.
