TOKAI ELECTRONICS CO.,LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "TOKAI ELECTRONICS") has simultaneously implemented the SaaS-based ERP system "SAP S/4HANA® Cloud Public Edition" at its headquarters and wholly owned subsidiaries, Tokai Automatics Co., Ltd. and Tokai Techno Center Co., Ltd., in order to improve business productivity and strengthen its management base. SIGMAXYZ supported this project with its "Fit to Standard" approach, helping to standardize business processes and data and build an optimal ERP environment based on the Clean Core principle.
In its medium-term management plan, "Move for Future 2025," TOKAI ELECTRONICS has set "business process reform and strengthening information infrastructure" as one of its key strategies. As part of achieving this goal, TOKAI ELECTRONICS has adopted SaaS-based ERP system for core business operations such as sales, purchasing, logistics, accounting, and finance. The decision to introduce this system was made based on the view that it was not simply a system upgrade, but rather a business and system transformation aimed at standardizing business processes, utilizing new technologies, and centralizing data to speed up decision-making.
SIGMAXYZ supported this project by leveraging its extensive experience in introducing SAP S/4HANA® Cloud Public Edition and implementing Fit to Standard, its business knowledge as a specialized trading company, and its advanced project management capabilities. For functions that needed to be modified for operations specific to a specialized trading company or for business collaboration with a variety of business partners, we utilized side-by-side development to minimize ERP customization and maintain the "Clean Core principle."
TOKAI ELECTRONICS will aim to improve its operational productivity under this new environment and will also use the standardized data for its management strategy and business growth.
